Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation, Leme Othon Hotel, where you will stay for 3 nights. After lunch at the hotel, you will visit the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain in the middle of Guanabara Bay.

On the morning of your second day, enjoy a scenic drive to Corcovado, taking the train up the hill to the impressive statue of Christ the Redeemer, from where you will have an incredible view of the city. In the evening, you will be taken to one of Rio’s famous barbecue restaurants for dinner, with a samba dance show at Plataforma afterwards.

Today, you will be taken by 4×4 on a tour of Tijuca Forest, the world’s largest urban forest, with the morning spent wandering leisurely along its paths and past its waterfalls, streams and verdant greenery. After lunch, you will return to the hotel and the rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

After breakfast, you will be return to the airport for your flight to Manaus. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for the night, Hotel Tropical Manaus. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a city tour, visiting the Teatro Amazonas (Opera House) and Indian Museum, where you can see interesting indigenous artefacts and learn about indigenous traditions and culture.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Amazon Eco-Park Lodge by boat, where you will stay for 2 nights, enjoying a Meeting of the Waters tour en-route, where the black waters of the mighty Negro River meet the light waters of the Solimoes River, flowing side by side without mixing for several miles .

In the morning of your only full day at the lodge, you will be taken on a nature hike through the forest, learning about the diverse wildlife around you and hopefully spotting some of the more famed animals of the Amazon, such as the squirrel monkey and capuchin. After lunch, visit some local amazonian residents of indigenous descent, where you will learn about their history and the way they live in the modern world. After returning for dinner, there will be a boat safari to spot caiman along the riverbanks.

Today you will fly to Salvador, where you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for 3 nights, Bahia Othon Palace. In the evening, you will be able to see Bahia by night, starting with a show at the Miguel de Santana Theatre, giving you a taste of the rich cultural history of Bahia, highlighted in the diversity of dances and musical performances on show. After the show, dinner will be enjoyed in one of the local restaurants.

At Leisure

In the morning, you will be transferred to Salvador airport for your flight to Belo Horizonte. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation in Ouro Preto, Pousada Minas Gerais.

After breakfast on your only full day here, you will be taken on a walking tour of the city, with a break for lunch. The evening will be spent at leisure, allowing you to wander around the city or relax at the hotel.

Upon arrival into Iguaçu Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for 2 nights, Hotel Das Cataratas.

On your first full day, you’ll be taken on a tour of the Brazilian side of the Falls, roughly a 45-minute walk through the forest to the various viewpoints. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken on a safari through the forest, spotting birds and other wild animals and learning about the flora and fauna of the forest. At the end of this 2-mile ride, you’ll be taken by speedboat to within a few metres of the thundering cascades coming over the falls.

After Breakfast you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight back home.
