Battery-powered CT cabs operate in Valletta.Public transport is efficient and reasonably priced.  The main bus terminus in Malta is in Valletta, just outside the City Gate.  An express bus service links the principal resorts with Sliema, Marsaxlokk, Mdina, the Three Cities and the main sandy beaches. In Gozo, the bus terminus is in Main Gate Street, Victoria.

In Malta’s Mediterranean climate lightweight cottons and linens are worn between March and September, although warmer clothes may occasionally be necessary in spring and autumn and on cooler evenings. A light raincoat is advisable for winter.
