Set on the shore of Discovery Passage where Vancouver Island’s Campbell River empties into the ocean, Painter’s Lodge is particularly popular with fishing enthusiasts. Accommodation is offered in rooms and cabins with patios or balconies. All rooms come with cable TV and coffeemakers while some feature mini-fridges and others have full kitchens. Guests can dine on West Coast cuisines and seafood at the onsite restaurant and unwind with a drink in the lounge or pub where beer and wine are served. Other facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, exercise room, hot tub, and two tennis courts. The lodge is open from May through October every year.
