Chapter House Boutique Hotel is the most recent addition to The Living Journey Collection, and one of the most exciting new additions to the Franschhoek town center, located just a few minutes’ walk from the very many wonderful and award-winning restaurants that Franschhoek has to offer. This hotel is soaked in history and is a very significant building in the history of this charming town. Originally built as a Mission House in 1888, and later serving as the village school right up until 1974, this house has chapters filled with stories to tell. The décor is simply captivating, impressively combining heritage design with local creativity, charm, and color. There are nine guest units made up of three categories; Classic Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, and Superior Suites. Seven of the rooms boast their own private outside space and three of these have their own plunge pool. All rooms have an impressive range of facilities. Included in the services offered are a 24-hour concierge, an in-room spa service, a day room, breakfast served until 11 am, an all-day dining menu, and a full-service bar.
