Weekend Rugby Tour: South Devon, England

Play rugby, watch Salcombe or Paignton 1st XV, play touch rugby on the beach, have a beach BBQ and then hit one of Salcombe’s many bars or clubs



Friday: B&B accommodation, Paignton, Devon

You will be met by one of our representatives at your club/school and transferred by coach to Torbay, where you will spend 2 nights in one of five hotels (choice depends on tour budget) on a bed & breakfast basis. Departure Times can be flexible to accommodate school and work.

Upon arrival at Totnes you will have a tour dinner at a pre-arranged restaurant. Afterwards you will be transferred to your accommodation in nearby Paignton.




Saturday & Sunday: Play two rugby games, enjoy a beach BBQ and visit Paignton waterfront

After a full-English breakfast you will be transferred to Salcombe RFC or Totnes RFC (depending on number of teams touring and ages). Lunch will be hosted by the local club. Afterwards you will be transferred to Salcombe RFC, where you will watch a Salcombe First XV match at the club.

In the late afternoon you will be transferred to North Sands beach, in Salcombe, where you will have a beach BBQ. The evening may be spent at leisure in Salcombe, where there is a great choice of restaurants, pubs and even a club. Coaches will return you to your accommodation in Paignton at a pre-arranged time. Anyone leaving later will be able to get back by taxi.

After another hearty English breakfast you will walk down to Paignton RFC, who you will play in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided by the club. Afterwards you will be able to watch Paignton First XV at the club or you can walk down to the Paignton seafront, which is only 50m away from the club.
