Spot the Big Five whilst on safari and relax and enjoy the view from Mozambique’s stunning Flamingo Bay
Day 1-4: Garonga Safari Camp, Makalali Conservancy, South Africa
Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, one of our representatives will assist you with immigration formalities and make sure that you receive all of your vouchers for onward travel. Later on, you will catch your domestic flight to Hoedspruit in the game-rich eastern part of South Africa. Here you will be met by a representative from Garonga Safari Camp, who will transfer you to the lodge in the Makalali Conservancy, where you will stay for 3 nights on safari.
The park offers excellent game-viewing and is home to ‘The Big Five’ (lion,leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino), as well as the vast majority of other large mammals, such as zebra and giraffe.

Garonga Safari Camp is an exclusive 14-bed camp in the greater Makalali Conservancy, situated west of the Kruger National Park. This unassuming sanctuary promises a more intimate wildlife encounter in an unhurried environment, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the wildlife at leisure. The Tented Rooms are situated on a dry riverbed – each with a wooden deck that commands spectacular views of the plains. Day 4-9: Flamingo Bay Water Lodge, Inhambane, Mozambique
After an early morning game-drive and breakfast, you will be transferred to Nelspruit in order to catch your flight to Inhambane (1.30hrs), where you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your accommodation for 5 nights, Flamingo Bay Water Lodge. Whilst here, you can enjoy a wide variety of water-based activities, such as diving, snorkelling and surfing. You can also visit the local markets, go quad-biking and horse-riding or just relax and enjoy a drink by the ocean.
