Day 1-3: Islands of Siankaba, Livingstone, Zambia

Upon arrival at Livingstone International Airport (via Johannesburg) you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to Islands of Siankaba, a luxury lodge set on two private islands in the middle of the mighty Zambezi River, where you will spend 3 nights on a full-board basis.

There is a wide range of activities on offer around the Falls: arguably the best white-water rafting in the world, a 110m bungee jump suspended in front of the vast falls, unforgettable elephant-back safaris and a tranquil sunset cruise in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for our less adrenaline-fueled clients.

This beautiful, secluded 5-star resort offers exquisite service, incredible views, but also offers a wide range of inclusive activities, such as mokoro canoe trips, a nature trail walk, cultural village/school walks, a sundowner cruise and a picnic-lunch on the river. On either of the two days of your stay, a guided tour of The Victoria Falls is also available, taking you along the top of the falls for breath-taking views of The Falls in its immense entirety.

Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World due to its enormity, is 2km in width and 108m in height. Lying on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, it can be viewed from both sides, with wooden walkways allowing you to peer over the edge and explore the different facets of the Falls.




Day 4: The Airport Grand Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa

After breakfast you will be transferred back to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Johannesburg, where you will be able to catch a complimentary shuttle service to their hotel, The Airport Grand Hotel, where you will spend one night.

After the journey you will be sure to appreciate the comfy beds, large pool and cable TV in the hotel, making it the ideal stop-over before continuing on to Mozambique. The evening can be spent at leisure; you can either eat in the hotel restaurant, offering excellent African and international food, or you are welcome to go into town for dinner, where there is a huge variety of choice.




Day 5-12: Vamizi Island, Mozambique

After a morning at leisure you will have to arrange a return transfer from the hotel to OR Tambo Johannesburg Airport, International Departures, which can be booked at the front desk of the hotel on arrival, for your flight to Pemba Airport, Mozambique (via Maputo).

On arrival at Pemba airport you will be met by one of our representatives, who will escort you to our light aircraft, transferring you to your accommodation, Vamizi Island, where you will stay for 7 nights.

Day 12: The Peech Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa

Today you will be transferred to Pemba Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg, where you will spend one night in the The Peech Hotel.

The Peech is a beautifully designed boutique hotel situated in the chic Johannesburg suburb of Melrose, away from the busy city centre. The rooms overlook a lovely landscaped garden and manage to find the perfect balance between sophistication and homely comfort. The hotel’s bistro offers excellent food, with head chef Greg Jardim focusing on flavour and simplicity, and comes complete with a walk-in wine cellar.




Day 13 & 14: Buffalo Camp, Kapama Private Game Reserve, South Africa

In the morning you will be transferred by one of our representatives to Kapama Private Game Reserve, where you will spend two nights at Buffalo Camp, a luxury safari lodge in the heart of the reserve.

Twice daily safari drives are available for guests, with the rest of the time spent at leisure enjoying the luxuries of the camp.

Set on stilts and connected by walkways, Buffalo Camp allows visitors to watch over the African bush from the comfort of the lodge’s infinity pool or their own private balcony. Its maximum capacity of 20 guests, combined with the intimate lay-out of the bar and dining area, creates the ideal getaway to enjoy both the safaris offered twice daily and each other’s company.

Kapama has all the ‘Big Five’ African animals in abundance and its natural environment and sweetveld ecosystem offers guests the opportunity to have close encounters with all the African animals that traditionally roam this area.




Day 15-17: Kapama River Lodge, Kapama Game Reserve, South Africa

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kapama River Lodge, another luxury safari lodge, where you will spend two nights. After check-out on the final morning you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

Although larger than Buffalo Camp, Kapama River Lodge manages to retain an intimate atmosphere and excellent game viewing, as it overlooks a dry riverbed constantly visited by wildlife. The luxurious, African-styled lodges and excellent traditional African cuisine create a feel of authenticity that is essential to any safari experience. Being in the same game reserve as Buffalo Camp, the ‘Big Five’ can all be spotted on game drives.
