Upon Arrival at Malta’s international airport you will be met by your guide for the week, who will drive you to your accommodation in the contemporary, seafront district of Sliema, The Palace Hotel, where you will stay for 3 nights. Over the next 2 days you will be taken on a guided tour of historic Valletta, the maritime and historically diverse “Three Cities” across the Grand Harbour and quaint Sliema.

The Palace is a 5-star, luxury hotel with large, comfortable rooms, a rooftop swimming pool with excellent views over the city and it has a world-class restaurant serving a fine selection of international and Maltese food, which is heavily influenced by Italian cooking.

Day 4: Xara Palace Relais & Chateau, Mdina

After breakfast you will be transferred to Mdina, where you will spend one night in Xara Palace Relais & Chateau. Mdina is the former capital of Malta, having been fortified since the Phoenician times in 700BC. Nowadays the former city is considered more of a historic village, with only 300 inhabitants all living within its ancient walls. Despite its size, Mdina is packed full of history, with a number of beautiful squares and famous streets, as well as the impressive St. Paul’s Cathedral.
