Talk business whilst white-water rafting, pendulum-jumping, bobsleighing, quad-Biking & mountain-cross biking on this action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled weekend trip
Day One: Arrival at Mølla Hotell, Lillehammer
On arrival at Oslo Airport you will be met and transferred to Mølla Hotell in the heart of Lillehammer City, host of the 1994 Olympic Winter Games, where you will spend 1 night. This traditional and charming hotel was converted from a flour mill for the 1994 Olympic Winter Games and retains the Olympic ethos. The Mill, dating from 1863, has a unique character and provides excellent accommodation. Egons restaurant has retained its rustic charm and offers a wide range of Nordic and International food. Alsso, its renowned Toppen bar at the top of the Hotel offers an incredible panoramic view over the city and landscape of Lillehammer.
In the evening, there will be a video and briefing session with Tony Wallington OBE, a former Bobsleigh Winter Olympian and medal holder. Afterwards, you will have dinner in Egons restaurant, with the evening at leisure to explore the nightlife of Lillehammer City, including Molla’s roof top bar and the Brenneriet nightclub, 5 minutes from the hotel.
Day 2: White-water Rafting, Pendulum Jump & Transfer to Gudbrandsgard Hotel
After breakfast, you will check-out of Mølla Hotell and head off for your white-water rafting experience, rated as one of the best in Europe. After the rafting you will also be able to try the Pendulum Jump off Faukstad bridge, a huge swing that makes you plummet towards the bottom of the valley and up again.
Following the Pendulum Jump, you will be able to shower and enjoy a sauna or hot tub with an outstanding view of the fantastic local scenery. Then we provide you with a delicious traditional lunch made with ingredients unique to this region of Norway. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to the Gudbrandsgard Hotel, where you will spend 1 night. This 5* hotel has a well equipped gym, large pool, solarium, sauna and Wellness Centre. Gudbrandsgard is renowned in Norway for its interior; sitting rooms with open fires, library, restaurant, wine celler, bar and its very own nightclub.
Day 3: Bobsleighing, Quad-Biking & Mountain-Cross Biking
After breakfast you will head off to the Lillehammer Olympic Bobsleigh Track, where you will experience the wheel bob. This exhilarating sport is a unique attraction in the summer. The Olympic Bobsleigh track has 16 curves and is 1700m long, allowing you to reach speeds of 100km per hour and forces up to 3G.
Afterwards, you will head off with your local, experienced guide into the mountains on quad-bikes, stoppin at a traditional Norwegian Laavu (hut) for lunch. After your quad safari, a short transfer will take you to Hafjell Olympic Ski Centre for mountain-cross biking, with differently graded slopes. Afterwards you can change and shower before being transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
